Final Fantasy will always be my favorite RPG series, but it is rather a mess. I am looking forward to FFXV... whenever they decide to release it, that is. Bravely Default has turned out to be a nice offshoot of FF though.
Dragon Quest seems like it's stuck in Japan forever and only gets released if Nintendo decides to publish it here. I keep hoping Dragon Quest VII 3DS will show up, and while it might, I'm not holding my breath for it.
Right now, Tales is the most reliable RPG series out there, and I do support it heavily.
