There is no rational other than last generation. The Xbox had a year head start so of course it kept its lead over a more expensive console after tons of price drops, multiple people buying consoles cause the 360 kept breaking and their biggest fanbase being in the US. Nothing is a lock and I doubt the X1 sells more anywhere. It;s not as popular as it was last generation.Too many different variables.
