People have been more satisfied with the Xbox 360 than the PS3 so are less inclined to upgrade - one of Yusuf Mehdi's opinions on sales gap

[LivingMetal]

""People have been more satisfied with the Xbox 360 than the PS3, so in that respect people have less of a need to upgrade in the short-term due to regular updates for the Xbox 360," Mehdi said. "We could point to any number of things.""

Or maybe more people are more satisfied with the PS4 over the Xbox One. Or Maybe more people are more satisfied with a PlayStation product over an Xbox One which would make them more inclined to buy another PlayStation product (PS4). Just maybe. "We could point to any number of things." Just not the ones that don't favor the Xbox One.
