God forbid Sony collapses, what do you want to happen to the Playstation business?

Nintendo have hardware folk who work at Nintendo. Playstation's hardware is a mix of SCEI and Sony, if you sell SCE you're hardly going to give them the patents from Sony. COmparing nintendo to sony is silly because Nintendo are there own business so there hardware teams lies within the nintendo brand. Some of playstations hardware team is from Sony's own engineers.

Comparing them to nintendo isnt silly at all.  Nintendo is an independent game company that makes its own hardware.  There is no reason Sony would spin off playstation without giving them the tools to be self sustaining.  Plus, isnt the premise of this thread is sony collapses?
