Sony is thinking like Microsoft. Dangle a carrot and the people will pay you to get what they want. I bitched about PSN Plus but eventually I got used to Sony (like Microsoft)having to use payment tactics to survive. They didnt copy MS but they redefined what it meant to have a premium service. If they truly copied MS then PSN Plus would be Xbox Live.
Even IGN wrote an article admitting just recently that Microsoft is using Sonys playbook to beat them. Its the same thing with the 360. Microsoft learned from Sony in the first generations that amassing third party is the key to success.
