Arrogant means that because they still have strong demand they think they are untouchable.  This is a fallacy.  Saying the PS4 has not changed implies that the console is not advancing and Sony is not trying to stay a step ahead of the competition.  We have a long way to go before either console is declared as a winner.

It does not matter what the market is today.  Both consoles will be on the market for a long time and values shift between consumers all the time.

These type of schoolboy tweets sound exactly that.  Its not well thought out and and a knee jerk reaction that might not get the response the person intended.  Think about it, as a gamer do you really care if the PS4 is the same since launch if you were on the fence for a purchase.

Define "winner".

I was talking about the sales to date, which is (mostly) available for everyone to see. I could not care less willy waving about silly console wars and who is "winning" the 'fight'.

Yes the tweet is a trollish and juvenille, but why do you care? Little sly jabs from one mega corporation to another isn't anything to get worked up over.

Actually as far as caring about what tweets Sony or MS make I do not.  I am pointing out that as a business such schoolyard tweets can backfire because what the person intended could be construed totally different.  As a business, Sony, MS nor Nintendo want to drop down to the level of troll console war type of post.  Its always best to stay classy then come off the wrong way.  The good thing about tweets is that you can communicate with customers faster.  The bad thing about tweets is that you can communicate with customers faster so when you do something you want to take back the damage is already done.
