No price drop then, Sony better bring some games because that high school talk isnt gonna work this E3 |
Why would Sony do a price drop, they are currently selling more than the XBO. Only if MS suddenly start selling bucket loads would they consider it. At the moment they have what ?? 3300k gap to XBO in USA, April/May is maybe a shoe in. Last NPD the gap was 60K in PS4's favour. So let's say by June it's 400k gap.. Sony not having to worry yet.
Not sure why people are thinking removing Kinect is suddenly going to make the XBO more appealing, its a sensible decision to reduce the cost, but partly ruined by the fact they had already got shops reducing the price to that *with* kinect and PS4 still won.
E3 is the key imho... if both bring the normal types of games, then Sony should win most months this year. MS really needs to bring out the big guns... and I dont mean Halo is coming 2015 type message or DLC delays on Sony's console... and I am not sure they are in for that, after spending hundreds of millions on NFL (if they had spent that on games, man it would have been a different story).
