Nintendo is not the Wall Street of the gaming industry. It just spent the last two generations in the dump and its latest system is no more appealing to developers than its previous ones.

Even the National Enquirer has had a few good runs during its lifetime, but people looking for real news are going to pick up the Wallstreet Journal or the New York Times instead.

The Wii is more like Fox News. It gets all the ratings, but everybody thinks its cool to hate on it.

Don't act like the Wii and the DS are "just a quick one time thing between PS3 domination." Your example is hinting at fanboyism. You're trying to hint that "The Wii isn't a real system, its just something people will be interested in for a time, and then it will be marginalized again."

Foolish to underestimate Nintendo consoles, profit, staying power, and popularity. Very foolish.

It's not the Wal Street of the gaming industry, but your example is fanboyism at its finest, just because you thought you could slip it in, during a Wii hate thread, doesn't mean you can't get caught. Wise up.

Did you really just compare the Wii to the steaming pile of crap that is Fox News?  Good comparison.

And who says it's a quick one time thing?  Until the Wii actually starts getting a lot of the big name titles coming to it, it may not even be that.
