I think that we live in a world of news before the news and announcement before the creation of things... the waiting time got extended by years (in some cases) you can't keep hyping for so long and be mesmerized by something anymore. We have little surprises and major disappointments....
We know too much about everything even before being released... the time of play an unknown game and be amazed are over....
