Sorry, the PS3 & X360 is not in the Wii U's ballpark. It's not even close. Look up "Retro Studios & Shin'en" (developers that actually develope for Nintendo's console) about the Wii U's power. Look at the Zelda E3 demo. Hell, look at the Bayonetta 2 trailer. You're getting information from the wrong people.

"Powerful" is defined as something of great power or strength. "Great" is defined as something considerably above the average.
As a point of reference, the PS4's GPU peak is more than 5 times higher than the WiiU's (1.84tflops/s vs 0.352tflops/s). The capabilities of the PS4 are just above average compared to those of a high end PC, thus it can't be considered powerful since it fails to hit the "considerably above average" level needed to fit the definition.
I'm sure you can understand that if even the PS4 can't be considered powerful, there is no way in hell the WiiU can be :p Nintendo specific developers can dress it up however which way they like, it won't change the WiiU's hardware, nor stop it being outclassed by both its competitors, who are in tern outclassed by what is available on the market.

Retro Studios: "Wii U is a powerhouse".
Those numbers looks good on paper. The Wii U has a slower CPU then the PS3 & X360 on paper, but is a lot powerful then both. The Wii U has eDRAM. Look up what developers say about the Wii U (the developers that actually develope for Nintendo's console). Sony and Microsoft can't tell you its power. Their first party studios can't tell you it's power. The Wii U has been taken apart and no one can tell you its full power. Only Nintendo and the developers know what the Wii U can do. Its a powerful console, more then it gets credit for.

Shocking, a Nintendo specific developer is making statements that reflect well on their product! It's almost as though they are a company trying to sell something o:
I literally just explained to you why the PS4, a console several times more powerful than the WiiU, can't be considerd powerful, yet you are still blathering on that the WiiU is? Or are you going to try and argue the WiiU is more powerful than the PS4 now?
It must be nice to have such low expectations for hardware.
