This^^ pretty much this! I always said that WiiU have too much platformers and/or cartonish things.Let's faced the "casuals" will not save the WiiU like they did with Wii.
WiiU needs the typical "15-35 male hardcore gamer" and they will not jump to WiiU only for cartoonish things(even if they like this genre)
They want third party support;
They want Zelda,F-zero,Metroid kind of classics and not mario,kirby,mario,DK,mario;
New ips that are not "for everyone"(AKA kids,grandmas,non gamer parents)
Drop the "family friendly" thing;
