It's not selling well because it's not what people wanted at the time, it has a stupid name that sounds like a spin-off, and the Wii U is selling like crap. Difficulty is not an issue.
Retro should have made a shooter or a Metroid or something. Having Mario and DK a few months apart was stupid. I bought Mario, I have no need for DK right now. I will pick it up down the road.
