Tropical Freeze is better than DKC 1 and 3 on SNES. Not way better, (they're all amazing games) but still better.

Personally I consider all the Smash Bros games to be rubbish. The physics and controls are just so freaking bad.

The thing is, GC didn't had a proper DK game since wasn't mae for rare so is a little unfair. On the smash bros side, Melee is the best of the franchise by far, followed for the first one. We'll see if wii u can match the GCN library or not, but if does it won't be a big difference that's for sure.
