So lets say the promotion goes on for maybe three months. We're looking at 200 million bottles of pepsi. Granted, the standard size is 1.5 liters around here and there are also cans and small bottles without the promotion. So let's cut that in half to around 100 million bottles. With 10.000 winners that's pretty much a winning chance of 0.01 %. So out of 10.000 bottles, there is exactly one winning code.
Yeah, the chances are bigger than at the lottery. But it's still very unlikely. Let's not forget that some of the winning codes may never be sold and rot in some warehouse instead.
