LOL...Belief is the downfall of the human race rather than looking at results. The burden of proof is on Microsoft. I never said Microsoft is sitting on their thumbs either. They didn't then and they wont now. My point is when Sonys first party jumps off, Microsoft will be scrambling once the third and seccond party titles dry up just like they did in the 360 era using PC games to fill in the gaps. Valve wont save them, CD Projekt Red is multiplat now, Bioware is multiplat and Sega is under exclusivity contract with Nintendo for some time now. ;)

Of course they replaced one of those chess pieces with Sony's former partners, Insomniac. The same team who Xbox gamers considered second rate last gen when it came to Resistance.

Resistance is a second rate FPS. IMO.

I think MS has enough system sellers in their hands to push their consoles. Now take away Namco Bandai, Square Enix and Capcom deals and watch Sony tank in Japan where MS is not given a chance.

When you're used to halo and Gears, of course. Insomniac isn't the biggest AAA studio, but of course that half the reason Sony never purchased them. They had been a Sony partner since the PS2 era and Sony kept them around for a reason. Microsoft realizes the value of an Insomniac game, especially being that they love associates of Sony. They'll take any of them...wanna know why? Because they are good and MS knows it. You might wish Sony would fail in Japan, but they need only sell 15-25 million there lifetime. The western world will as always take the reigns in sales.

The reason the Xbox fails in Japan is because its literally a carbon copy of the Playstation to the Japanese and western games dont appeal to the majority of them. This is half the reason Sony sales have slowed down there since the PS2 era. Too many western games.
