Who knows how big a piece of the pie financials were. How much more precise can they be than saying MS gave them a better deal?
They can partner with Sony for another R&C game and it is irrelevant to this project. MS is the feeding hand here.

More precise saying not that they partnered with MS because they are great partners but because they were the only willing to support them in their terms? (If they decide not to say about the finances specific).
I'll repeat that my only problem in his comment was when asked why the game won't release on PS4 and the answer being because MS are terrific partners. Maybe that was taken out of context or the guy rushed to answer, but certainly seems disrespectful.

Actually it might not be taken out of context and means exactly what you think. Sony might not have been a great partner to them and did not give them the freedom them wanted. MS offered them what they wanted which would make them the better partner. As I have seen, Console makers treat each developer different and it could be a case where IS was not happy under Sony. It's notdisrespectful it could be the truth for them. No one knows what goes on between a lot of these dev companies and the console maker.

Ahh but thats just your point of view. The developer never said anything bad about Sony nor did they even mention anything wrong. The developer just praised MS. What I love about that statement is that it really says nothing but could say everything. Its up to the person reading it to form their own opinion.
In reality, the statement could read exactly as its stated. The developer was asked why SO is exclusivve to MS and its because they are great partners. The statement could have no more meaning then that. The statement just might have absolutly nothing to do with Sony.
