iPhone 5c was partly designed for emerging markets in mind because 5 and 5s cost too much. iPhone 6 as well, one incentive to going with a bigger screen was because the chinese market likes big screens on their phones.

What does partly designed mean? GTFOH!! Iphone 5c was, according to apple, designed for the low income people of the US. You´re just making assumptions!! You have to understand that middle class people in like countries like Brazil, or any country ( I´m from Brazil, I know better), will never be satisfied with a third rate product.
You´re probably one of those people who think we still have SD tvs in our living rooms.
