they would not have made it HD, even for not much extra
they know hd games cost more to make and take longer
they don't believe enough people care enough about hd at this point in time for it to be a difference maker
so they woulda kept hd off like they did
they woulda made more than they have and wii would already be past 40mil consoles sold
