I highly doubt ioi is fixing the numbers to save Gebx. I totally agree that if the 360 can't beat the PS3 three weeks then Gebx should be made to take his ban. I'm just saying the forums would lose much more with his three month absence than it would with the numerous one-week bans. People always go missing here and there for a week or so over exams or holidays. |
frankly, I don't really care who gets banned, or for how long. What I DO care is the fact the correct person get banned, according to an accurate data. Gebx KNEW what he was putting himself to when he made that bet, so for that, I show no sympathy if he does get banned. I'm not accusing ioi of fixing anything, as long as he can get PS3 vs 360's number right this time. :P I mean, 1 out of 3 months sounds a lot better than 0 out of 3 months, wouldn't you agree? ;) |
Let's not turn this into VGC vs.NPD. No need for it. Gebx banned makes no difference so if he made the bet and loses well his own fault.
