That's the case about 90+% of the time. I haven't heard a single reasonably thought out argument that justifies Nintendo pivoting on their hardware so soon.
The only thing that POSSIBLY makes any sense to me is that they suddenly have a beast system and drop several hundred million dollars for Destiny exclusivity, Titanfall sequel, and secure Fallout 4 as a timed exclusive + their existing lineup. But I think we're way past them having a shot of doing anything like that.
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
