Titanfall was extremely hyped, not just by internet gamers but even more so by the gaming press... in fact the press went way OTT on it... can only guess that there was a lot of paid "Articles" etc.
I don't think it has sold as well as MS has hoped, but for EA, they are probably pretty pleased with it, just because it sounds like it didn't cost them that much and they made money from the MS exclusivity deal. Now they can see it has a future and get it on the PS4 as well and sell more. Win win.
Personally though, unless it has a SP component I'm not interested, i was pretty amazed at the lack of content and it was getting 9/10's on some reviews... so we shall see, I do think it has a promising future if they can start building the content for the game though.
