Could you explain Road to the show?

I went to a baseball match for the first time last year in Toronto, and i really enjoyed it so have been thinking about picking up this game, especially as its reasing as a budget title in the UK, what with us not having and Baseball coverage at all over here.

Its actually really cool. You create your own player and customize him. Then you control him throughout his entire career. You take him all the way from a minor just out of school all the way to a major MLB player. As you pkay and control him in games / matches he actually levels up based on how well you do and you can use those points to increase your skills.

Its VERY cool and in many ways is like an RPG. I was really surprised how fun it is.

Worth mentioning too is that you only have to play your at-bats and only have to play defense if it is likely the ball will be hit to your player. This makes the games go by quickly.

I bought the game right after work yesterday. I have been looking forward to it for a while now. I even rented the PS3 version a couple weeks back just to get a jump start on my RttS character.

AA ball is so easy. My guy is batting .420 w/ 27HR and 98RBI and I am only a little past the halfway point of the season. I am shocked they haven't promoted me to AAA yet, but I guess 4 months in is too early, regardless of how quick of a start my guy has had.
