EA has tried to put RPG elements into FIFA, but you always want to control the entire team rather than just one player. The also removed player-management from the game a couple of years ago which was quite annoying...
But more on topic, I bought MLB 12 on Vita when it was on sale, but never got into it. I actually watch the NFL, so managed to get into Madden, but because there's no coverage (and I don't really care) there's no baseball coverage in the UK, so I just didn't really know what to do
I understand they have added a tutorial mode, so if that actually caters to people who have a minimal understanding of how to play the sport (I know 3 strikes!), then I'll be interested. All I've done in 12 is listen to the great soundtrack while I try to get a grip with batting. I just have no ability to tell what to leave
