Just out of interest, how many months does VGC have to get it wrong before you start to question their numbers? 3 months? 5 months? 10 months? Indefinitely?

You really aren't in a postion to be questioning those that have been right. Your energy is best spent finding out why they HAVE BEEN right.

I question their numbers, i don´t even trust them anymore. But even if they were wrong a thousand or a million times before, that doesn´t mean they will be wrong this or any other week. The inteligent thing is to wait every month for the NPD result; without trusting them or assuming they´re wrong.

When numbers don't make sense based on a logical, objective analysis those people how used their critical thinking ability to reach this very reasonable conclusion should just stfu? Is that what you're saying? I actually look at the responses of some of those who did not support the claim that the original 19 April numbers looked wrong, who usually try to objectively analyse numbers, and their "defence" of those original numbers was very half-hearted suggesting even they thought something was out of whack.

Of course fanaticism will always lead to confirmation bias so some people will always believe numbers that support their console allegiance, and vehemently oppose any questioning of those numbers.
