GTA? Hell no. A big AAA budget? Sure. They seem to be trying to build a dynasty around Fatal Frame (manga, live action movie, novel, and new game) so why wouldn't it have a big budget. Bayonetta 2: Daddy Nintendo is footing the bill, it's like a Super Sweet 16 party. Transformers? That's already a huge budget franchise. WIth that game you have big name voice actors, extensive detailed robot and vehicle mode, a long campaign as well as a multitude of multiplayer options. They new one seems a step UP from from everything prior. So what are you going off of? Now let me ask you, do you think Infamous Second Son or Killzone Shadow Fall had the same budget or was on the same scale as GTAV? (This should be HILARIOUS!) |
nope i would consider those games double AA, GTA isnt a AAA title? it that isnt AAA then what the hell is?
Ok Ninty is footing the bill so what? that doesnt mean much, hell they are probably footing the bill becasue those games are not that expensive to begin with. Transformers...MOVIES are big budget franchises, maybe even the shows. Games? not so much, look at the sales. They are nothing to scream about and thats AFTER price cuts. I like those games, wish they did better, but im sure they are not AAA becasue they would be losing alot of money and i doubt Activision would continue, this new one is releasing the time of the new movie so maybe it can get buzz from that. I hope so, they deserve better. Bayonetta, how much will that sell. It would be lucky if it could do original numbers and even that was considered a failure by Sega.
