Okay, a few things.

1. Several of you need to be Gannonbanned. No double "n" guys. It's Ganon.

2. That poll is missing the Oracle game villains, as well as Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks villains, and A Link Between World's villain.

3. It's looking like this game will be a sequel to Twilight Princess. They haven't touched the child timeline in a while and TP Link needs a sequel. Every Link gets one eventually. Not to mention the art style for TP is in high demand now, people want to see how it would look in HD. There are also a lot of rumors that point to it, and a lot of other signs that would make sense if we got a TP sequel. So if we assume it's a sequel to TP, it'll probably have a new villain. Sequels tend to get a new villain altogether. For example, Ganon and Ganondorf make no appearance in Majora's Mask, no appearance in Phantom Hourglass, only appears on the game over screen for Zelda 2, and isn't really in Link's Awakening either. The only time Ganon actually makes a true appearance in a sequel is when he's revived in a linked playthrough of the Oracle games, which are technically a second sequel to ALTTP. Every time a new game in the series is made that isn't a sequel to a previous one, in which a new incarnation cycle is started with a new Link, Zelda, and Ganon, Ganon somehow reappears, and is usually thoroughly vanquished by the end of the game, so a direct sequel with the same Link involves him fighting a new villain as the star of the show with no sign of Ganon. All that considered, if the game ends up being a new game in the adult timeline, Ganon hasn't been revived there yet, so it would probably be Ganon in that case. The only villain other than Ganon to be reoccurring was Vaati, who I'd like to see regain his humanoid form if they went with him.
