Konami's just never really been interested in putting their A-level stuff on Nintendo platforms, for quite a while. Capcom, Tecmo-Koei, and Sega have all been decent.
There's Square Enix, to be sure, but that ship sailed with Nintendo home consoles a while ago, too.
