I actually think people tend to forget that the Wii U is actually getting some support from Japanese developers.
Nintendo have a great relationship with Tecmo Koei, Namco Bandai and Sega. In addition to what they've already released, they are currently doing Fatal Frame V, Hyrule Warriors, Sonic Boom and Smash Bros. Although not a publisher, Platinum Games are also giving the Wii U a lot of love. Continuing support from these companies is pretty certain.
How many Western publishers do Nintendo have a great relationship with? None, although it is fair to say that Ubisoft, Activision and Warner Bros are still showing interest.
Capcom, Square Enix and Konami on the other hand have little interest in supporting the Wii U.
