It's more than a bit unfair to compare them. The PS4 bundle is almost twice as much and has a fundamentally different kind of value. Let me break it down, though.
Total Cost of Ownership: Wii U
Between two consoles and PS+, it's clear that the Wii U will cost less than the PS4. The only place where the PS4 might edge out an advantage is the used game market, where it probably will have some cheaper after-market games, but unless you want to drop $2000 on after-market games that's not likely to make a big difference.

Power: Irrelevant
Both consoles are likely powerful enough to do anything you want with a 1080p display. Naturally, they're pathetic compared to PCs, but PC resolutions can also go way higher than HDTV's, upwards of 1440p or 2560p. If power is really a concern, go PC and buy new hardware every other year from now on and play glitchy games like you're a glorified QA tester.
