The first couple years I owned a Wii I played it on an SD tv and didn't understand everyone's gripes about it's power. When I finally saw Wii being played on a HDTV I understood...

Even worse, after making the switch to HD, I could not play Zelda II on VC anymore - Nintendo just didnt care to male their products HD ready.
