Kwaad, in defense of Forza 2 in America -

The numbers are VGChartz numbers, and just that. They could be off vs. NPD by a bit, or not, who knows. I was certainly expecting Forza 2 to do higher, but it sold out at launch where I live, and Bodhesava (a Toys R Us Employee) has stated they've been sold out since launch, regardless of re-supplies.

IMO, Forza could end up doing quite well over the summer. Racers haven't always done great at the start for MS. Forza 1 only sold (citing VG Chartz) 1.01m units. Just with the US + Japanese numbers, they're already 17% of the way there within 10 days. For all purposes, I think Forza 2 (citing MGC numbers), has probably done near US Week 1 numbers as well.

Either way, as stated, I think that between Forza 2, Trusty Bell, and either a cheaper or more available Blue Dragon could certainly move a ton of systems (nowhere near 360s December, but heck, it could outsell what the 360 did last year before November in a matter of 2 months).

Myself, as well as everyone most likely agrees that TB will not get the numbers that BD has. At max, I think the game could get 175,000, and that's being VERY generous. However, at this juncture, anything past 75,000 units in it's lifetime is going to be huge (and get it in the top 5 games for the 360), and probably will happen.

I do agree with Crazzy man about this month: between RE:4Wii, NGS, Folksoul, Trusty Bell, and everything else, it's certainly a great month in Japan.

Just think...The top 2 games for next week could indeed be X360 and PS3 games, and not DS Dominance.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
