SM3DW's first-week sales were only a quarter million (mid-November) and they topped off at 310k during December, I really doubt MK8 has a chance of selling anywhere close to a million unless it launched during the holidays, and even then it's a huge long-shot. I'm not sure it'll even match 3DW's first-week sales until the holidays.

Did anyone really want or care about this game at the time though? I did not even want it until I already begrudgenly picked it up. Then I really had a lot of fun with it. But 20 mario's a generation is too much for me. One MK a generation is an EVENT!
