But you do know that this case isnt really a home invasion case nor even a self defence case, right? He set up a 'trap' with an intention to kill whoever stepped on his property. It's a premeditated murder.
There was a case recently in Florida, in which a vietnam veteran shot 2 teen burglars dead even tho they were already incapacitaded from gunshot wounds and posed no further threat. The guy was recording his enitre home, hence why they were able to convict him of murder.
This is the same basic concept
