hmm, while I don't think tv is very forward thinking as more and more people do away with cable and opt into subscription services to provide their multi-media content; Not everyone has fully switched over yet so until then its not a bad move on their part. However, it is not future proof at all. Also whenever the Sony - Viacom internet cable sub comes out I'm sure it won't be long for MS to get access to that as well.
