I just love how at launch every game had to be 1080p and 60 fps...

Then, infamous comes out and all of a sudden 30 fps is fine... (I've been saying 30 fps is fine all along)

For all those that are saying resolution trumps frame rate in racers. There has to be a balance between the two... 30 fps is minimum and 720p is minimum. As people have said, the detail in a distance is important. When you are travelling a 200+ Mph in a car seeing 60 fps is just as important to be able to react properly.

I don't like the comparisons to Forza 5. Forza 5 is a closed circuit course racing game whereas DriveClub is open world. There is a difference there. DriveClub can be more closely compared with Forza Horizon. Both open worlds and both trying to make arcade racers realistic. Forza Horizon runs at 30 fps at 720p using 2005 360 hardware. Driveclub is 30 fps at 1080p on 2013 PS4 hardware. Not a huge difference there. I would've preferred them to target 900p and 60 fps in DriveClub (A balanced approach between frame rate and resolution).
