I think that comes across as a pretty jaded view to be honest with you, there are a lot of press at E3, they're not all IGN ect an can be considered elitist, heck even VGC go? This is just putting a demo into the hands of gamers, so I go back to my original point, what has it got to do with E3? Just like MS and their touring trucks, fantastic but nout to do with E3.

Right, but the press still isn't the public, hence "elitist", even if they may come from smaller outlets. The point is public access. If it occurs during E3, then it's a part of the E3 event, which needn't be confined to some convention center in Los Angeles.
