How often do you scan or computer for viruses and/or other risks?

Two times a week, but it gets tedious at times since the virusprogram interferes with every process and bogs down the rig to a sleepy dredge...
It starts automatically, and when it does I usually just turn off the monitor and go do something else until its done.
