Destiny is a "Pretend Exclusive". It is a new term where a games E3 showings, press builds, marketing (logo at end of ads), beta, and content are exclusive to one console. To the uninformed gamer, the console advertised is literally the only platform the game is available. The pretend exclusive.....what a age we live in. |
Never heard that term before but the concept itself is old. PS2/GTA and X360/Call of duty are classic examples. Most third party games last gen either had a Playstation or xbox logo at the end as well. wii didnt try hard and look how they ended up lol.
