congratulation sony for a wonderfull job in your 1st year, many just wrote you off and said the ps3 will do a dreamcast but it hasnt.
things will only get better from here.
regarding a warranty i think i have 6 months left on mine, i was lucky when i returned my ps3 after about 5 months (son spilt milk inside the ps3) the cashhier at asda refunded me 1st, then i just bought it again from them so i hope it lasts me a lng time,
i had my ps2 from launch and sold it after 5 years it never broke down on me, i hope the ps3 is the same
