I wouldn't want the Wii to be a flop because Nintendo deserves the success but I don't like that it's been such a huge success and that everyone else is trailing behind. I think HD gaming should be at the forefront and that casual titles are at least something of a threat to the future of hardcore gaming. Games like GTA IV and MGS4 just wouldn't be possible on the Wii.
Outside of Wii Sports, I've been extremely unimpressed with the motion controls for Wii games and the Nintendo games I'll buy when I get a Wii again (Mario, Zelda) would be better off with a standard controller.
But no, I absolutely would not want the Wii to be a flop.
