Like OP says both 3DS and Vita are overtracked. Despite Almost Guaranteed Accurate Japan Hardware sales, We still got US/Europe/Restof The World. This thread is to showcase by how much, and of course do we know exactly how much and where. Is there some things wrong with a region's specific number? Lets find out.

VGC has 7.2m PSV + 5.8m PSP Sold (13mil). Overtracked by millions. But wat exactly? Dont know!
Currently 3DS and Vita as of Apr 19th have sold 44.06mil and 8.09mil respectively.

★ Rest of the World ★
3DS: 2.78mil
Vita: 0.87mil
Of course there is no concrete evidence to say Europe+Rest of the World numbrs are overtracked but by looking at them, they just might be.
