OK so Nintendo won E3 06 with the Wii no questions.
According to the press they won 07 with Wiifit but turned off the hardcore gamers who drolled over the still not out SOny games.
Nintendo is poised to do well if they really have secrets but we know Mario Baseball, Kirby, Wii Music, and Animal Crossign are coming. They were on the financial report from last quarter. We have seen plenty of pics from Disaster so that is not new. I think they probably have 1 more big gun up their sleeve but No suggestions I have seen really make me dance for joy. Now if they listed that the 100+ Wiiware games in development will all be released this year and we can expect double that next year that would be big.
3rd parties may win it for the Wii but they may lose it to if the "unknown" titles you refer to are still b-team productions.
A $100 pricedrop from Sony would be big news unless Microsoft drops their's for GTA and this just looks like a reaction move.
MS could preview their next console. But apart from that I don't see their announcements being surprising.
Final* Word on Game Delays:
The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.
Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.
Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.
