The cartoony aspect of WW doesn't take away from the artistic expression of the person taking the pic imho.

But if it does for you, this post settles it:

That said, Second Son is a gorgeous game. Credit where credit is due.

Those are pictures built from scratch and are not the result of a phographer walking around a virtual world and applying real world experience to the virtual world. Perhaps 'digital photography' is the wrong way to epress what I mean though ... Just like you would in the real world, Infamous players are looking for photo opportunities and some are achieving amazing things. AGAIN though, I'm not talking about graphics, I'm talking about personal intent and emotional connection with what you are trying to achieve.

Damn it, I can't find a way of expressing what I mean. This is the first time EVER we've seen this. Now if you could perhaps try to understand why I say 'EVER' you'd get what I mean. This is TRUE photography (PHOTOGRAPHY) in a virtual world. It's NOT just screenshots or screenshots with filters and different angles.

Like someone else said, Wind Waker already did it. I get what you mean, but one can do the same thing in Wind Waker, and especially Wind Waker HD. The same person who took those Infamous photos would have the same freedom of expression and movement in WW HD, which came out earlier. The only thing that can't be done ingame is the editing, which shouldn't matter because anyone serious about their "game photography" could use a real editing program with more options than any video game could have.

^^^^(This one actually might be a screen shot)^^^^

All exept one of those are taken with the in game "pictobox" camera. (Also, the images are super compressed for some reason, but they're usually in 1080p)
