What are you talking about? The DS had virtually no competition. What else would kids play, Vita? Vita is designed for a mature crowd, and this crowd has no time to play the Vita. When should I, a 29 year old man have the time to play a Vita? I don't commute and even if I did, I'm too old to play handhelds.

What demographic do you think the DS caters to? It's mostly kids under 14 years of age. There's a lot of kids in the world. There's also a lot of adults; few who are interested in playing a handheld. 

You are launching a system geared towards kids in a market virtually free from competition.
