What are you talking about? The DS had virtually no competition. What else would kids play, Vita? Vita is designed for a mature crowd, and this crowd has no time to play the Vita. When should I, a 29 year old man have the time to play a Vita? I don't commute and even if I did, I'm too old to play handhelds. 

Will the handheld business eventually be ousted by other mobile devices? Yes it will.
