Suprisingly with the way 3DS is going as of recent this wouldnt really surprise me at all. The only major thing Nintendo have going for them now outside of games in series already on 3DS (Pokemon, MonHun etc.) is a possible Dragon Quest.

The thing is even if vita>3ds weekly in 2015, that doesn't say much. 3DSwill have had at leasta 17mil userbase by that time. Just cuz a platform doesn't sell as high as others might doesn't mean Software declines, just look at PS3 for example :)
