I don't see much point in trying to turn things around. They appear pretty set. I would make another 2 years worth of games for each console so they can have a twilight zelda and fanservice games.

I would replace the handheld Nov 2015. 2 5-7" size tablets duct taped together. 5-10 point multitouch per qHD or less screen. 4GB RAM. NFC. Accelerometers. 2 cameras and mics. DPad and 4 buttons. 149(2GB)-199(16GB). I think they could break even or 10-20 loss if they cant find a decent mobile CPU/GPU. Wearables, NFC toys and accessories can help make up for the costs

To ensure developer support I would make sure that the console supports the most commonly used tools and libraries and that architecture isn't too exotic. Unity and Unreal are the largest for indies. See if we can drum up enough interest from publishers to get them to get us day and date with mobile games and larger IP content etc. Hopefully also having simple mobile GPU and CPU will allow easy porting.

Home grown games:
Super Mario Bros 3 pt 2 at launch in November.
Mario Golf,Tennis,Basketball, strikers, etc without mario in January. Playable with body, touch or buttons online 8-4 players, local 2-4 depending on controls.
Fitness game in Spring, Yoga games controlled with body, wearables, supplemented with diet tracking app, sleep monitoring app, fitness diary app
VC support for summer. GB, NES, SNES, GBA complete.
Mario Party style game in the fall/winter with other traditional table top adopted games and apps.
New Advance Wars

All of this would support Dual Play. The reason the system has two screens and so many cheap unobtrusive inputs is so you can always let someone in on the fun. For simpler games two people can play per screen(badlands for instance could be easily accomodated) Hopefully all will be 4-16 players online. Arcade contorls but not scary with just a dpad and buttons on 1 slab.

Those 2 years of Wii U games will be stretched to 3 years so we can have some content when we launch our next home console. If SDS takes off it would be closer to 2017 for it's replacement.
