I think it can pull it off if there are enough dual consoles buyers this gen. Since it doesn't have a paid service like the other 2 I could see it being a more like second choice for those trying to do it slightly more on budget, that and with all those wii's and wii motes out there it would be an easy upgrade. once the software and price become compelling enough.
