Do you still think WiiU can beat Gamecube lifetime? If so why?

The Wii U has sold 6 million consoles in 18 months. That averages 333,333 consoles per month. Which is 1 million consoles every 3 months. Which is 4 million per year. The Gamecube sold about 22 million. If the Wii U gets support until late 2018, then it will most likely beat the GC.
