It based in sales units.

The hourly ranking shows what was sold hour by hour... so if in one hour a guy came and buy 10 Gamecubs it will be high compared with 5 Wii solds in the same hour.

But in the Weekly and Montly it won't enter in the chart because it is a consolided ranking.

Go and check you example month in Amazon to see if the Gamecube is found or just try to prove me wrong
